A right candidate for same day dental implant would be an overall healthy patient with good bone density in their jaws. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, severe gum disease, bruxism, poor oral hygiene, autoimmune disease and smokers, are deemed as not ideal candidates for same day dental implants. For these patients, our implantologists and oral surgeons can propose alternative treatment plans.

The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia or sedation there by ensuring a pain free surgery. You may feel slight pain and discomfort for a day or two after the procedure that can be managed with medication.

The cost of same day dental implants depends on several factors like the number of teeth to be replaced, implant system used, the area in which the teeth is to be placed i.e aesthetic one or functional zone.

Same day implants are placed in a single office visit. Since you go home with the treatment completed, you may expect a longer chair side time than a regular dental visit.

For the first few weeks after the treatment, it is advisable to be cautious while brushing your teeth, avoid brushing too hard. Avoid eating hard or sticky food, and soft diet is recommended until the surgical site is healed completely. 

Once the surgical site is healed you may have any food of your choice. Always maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing twice a day.
